There were only two things that I had trouble with. One of them being was the rope came in the box dirty. There were these weird oil type marks on a lot of different spots on the rope and as I crocheted it would rub off and make other parts dirty too. That was really frustrating. I know you can dry clean the rope, but I am not sure if I am going to trust any dry cleaners with my rug. I'm afraid they would destroy it. The other issue was that my size S crochet hook was still too small even. It worked out eventually as I got use to working with the large rope. For most of the single crochet rows, I did it by hand. This made it much easier. I was able to keep the stitches loose enough. (I had issues in the beginning with keeping my stitches loose.)
For this rope, the looser the better and easier it is to stitch. Honestly. Don't be afraid to be let the stitches actually really loose. As you can see in the pictures, even with the loose stitches you can't really tell because the rope is so large and fluffy.
You're feedback would be very much appreciated! Let me know what you think or if you have any questions. : )
