Here's some good news! After a couple months of preparing and looking, I have finally moved!!! I am still slowly moving in and organizing my stuff though. It's a slow process for me, because I like to have everything "in it's place". This takes me awhile to figure out just where that place is and how everything fits together. Long story short, I found another person who was looking for a roommate in her home. My bedroom is actually a large open loft on the 2nd floor. I love it!!
I just can't get a good arrangement down yet. It's gonna take awhile. BUT! I was using the bar above the table in my room as a way to hang up my scarves since I have very limited closet space. I had to think of something else because once I got all my sewing gear, fabric, and all the other crafty stuff out of storage I would need that space. I did a little searching on Pinterest (of course) and found this awesome way to hang scarves!

I still can't get over how cute it is! All you need is a hanger, shower curtain rods, and a hook on the wall! SO simple and easy. I plan on adding another hanger this way right above my current one. It will be high enough to where the hanging scarves will cover up the lower hanger. It's gonna be so stinking cute! And it saved me tons of room in my closet and table space. Or I just have too many scarves. Is that even possible? :p
The best thing about getting all my fabric out of storage was being able to go through it all and see exactly what I have. It's super easy to forget what scraps of what fabric I kept and what I bought while it was on sale. It felt really good to get it all organized and put away in the shelves. My minky collection is getting big! :) I always tend to buy the remnants when they are like super on sale. Saves me a lot of money in the long run. Minky fabrics are not cheap. I had also forgotten how much I had bought on Black Friday last year. I couldn't pass up the fleece sale they had going on. I surprised myself as I was unpacking it all. At least I have enough to make quite a few stuffed animals.
I am so so so excited to finally get sewing again! From now on I'll be able to post NEW projects and tutorials that I have been planning. I can't wait to get started. Tomorrow will be the first time I've sown in over 4 months! :O It's been a difficult couple months not being able to do much crafting.
Can't wait to share my new projects with you all!
