Here it is! Finally!!! :D The tutorial for the snuggly blanket I make. I made one two years ago and everyone keeps trying to steal it or comment how snuggly and soft it is. Always hinting that they want me to make them one also. I use mine everyday. I love how soft it is. Now that all my craft supplies are out of storage, I dove into this project today. I picked out this fabric months ago. I was so ecstatic to finally use it. It's a beautiful combination.

Here's some good news! After a couple months of preparing and looking, I have finally moved!!! I am still slowly moving in and organizing my stuff though. It's a slow process for me, because I like to have everything "in it's place". This takes me awhile to figure out just where that place is and how everything fits together. Long story short, I found another person who was looking for a roommate in her home. My bedroom is actually a large open loft on the 2nd floor. I love it!!
I just can't get a good arrangement down yet. It's gonna take awhile. BUT! I was using the bar above the table in my room as a way to hang up my scarves since I have very limited closet space. I had to think of something else because once I got all my sewing gear, fabric, and all the other crafty stuff out of storage I would need that space. I did a little searching on Pinterest (of course) and found this awesome way to hang scarves! It's time for a recipe blog post!! I was walking around Meijer after work earlier this and kept losing myself in my mind thinking of future blog posts. My eyes fell on the grapes and they called out to me to eat them they looked so good. Then it hit me! Why not show you guys my most favorite grade snake ever? I have to stop myself from making this grape salad for months. I would go through almost 5 bags of grapes a week eating this constantly. Not just me of course eating the whole thing, but still. I have to step away from it. I haven't had it months and it was calling to me.
My aunt randomly decided on Friday night that the next morning we would leave to go to the Cincinnati Zoo for their Easter celebration. The trip is about 4 and half hours one way from where we live near Chicago. The trip was way worth all the hours spent in the car and the wake up at 3:30 am.
One thing I absolutely love to do, is taking pictures of animals and nature. This was a great opportunity to take some pretty pictures of the animals. It was so much fun to take pictures of these amazing creatures. Not to mention, I got a good use of my new zoom lens! |
