I was talking with a few friends about my blog and we got to talking about other crafts that I haven't mentioned yet. Cross Stitching! Then that lead me to think... I never ever finish any of the cross stitching projects that I start... and from there I thought let's add up all the projects that I never seem to finish. Ever ^_^ Please excuse these pictures in this post. They are mostly all taken on my phone and not pretty at all. :) That's because I never finished them so they didn't get into my portfolio.
To kick it off...
Cross Stitch projects. I get soo excited when I first start these, but then once I get past a part that I really really wanted to do, I lose interest and it ends up in unfinished tote. Or the bottom of a random craft tote. And I have many craft totes hahaha. Here's a few that I have yet to finish...these are from like... four or more years ago...

I tend to do cross stitch fairly well, it just can't keep my entertained for very long. Which is sad. :(
Next is... crochet blankets...or most times any larger crochet projects. They never get finished. I seriously mean, that I have never to this day finished a crochet blanket... I can't tell you how many crochet blankets that I have started and end up just sitting there or eventually I've thrown a few away. :\ I must have a short attention span because these large long projects I just can't seem to get through. This picture of a blanket I worked on two years ago, is probably as far into a blanket I've ever gotten. I actually some day... (hint: SOME day...) plan on finishing this blanket. I still love it...

I just did a post on my Crochet Stuffies and they make this list also. I can't tell you how many of them I've started and just stopped. I have tons of random body parts of random animals all over my craft storage. It got to the point where it was fun and games to hide the body parts around the house, or to display them. Sort of creepy and way funny at the same time...
Another problem I have with projects is that I'll make a few, people like family members (mostly my sister haha) will want me to make them some too. I'll get the supplies, do all the preping then... get bored with that project and set it aside. And I don't go back. My sister has been making fun of me for not finishing her pack-work scarf I was suppose to finish for her last winter...I even have everything cut and ready... I just.. found other projects that I get excited about and I never got around to actually sewing hers. Which I feel bad. because I actually made over 8 scarves...including my own... :( Sorry Jessie!
My biggest problem is that I find new projects, get so excited to start them, and I put down whatever I'm currently working on. I get bored with projects easily. I LOVE making new things and trying new things. Anyone else have these problems? I know I'm not the only crafter out there that has this issue. I need to work on it I know... :) I will get to these eventually .. maybe... ^_^
