I just can't get a good arrangement down yet. It's gonna take awhile. BUT! I was using the bar above the table in my room as a way to hang up my scarves since I have very limited closet space. I had to think of something else because once I got all my sewing gear, fabric, and all the other crafty stuff out of storage I would need that space. I did a little searching on Pinterest (of course) and found this awesome way to hang scarves!
Here's some good news! After a couple months of preparing and looking, I have finally moved!!! I am still slowly moving in and organizing my stuff though. It's a slow process for me, because I like to have everything "in it's place". This takes me awhile to figure out just where that place is and how everything fits together. Long story short, I found another person who was looking for a roommate in her home. My bedroom is actually a large open loft on the 2nd floor. I love it!!

My aunt randomly decided on Friday night that the next morning we would leave to go to the Cincinnati Zoo for their Easter celebration. The trip is about 4 and half hours one way from where we live near Chicago. The trip was way worth all the hours spent in the car and the wake up at 3:30 am.
One thing I absolutely love to do, is taking pictures of animals and nature. This was a great opportunity to take some pretty pictures of the animals. It was so much fun to take pictures of these amazing creatures. Not to mention, I got a good use of my new zoom lens! It's been a crazy couple weeks getting ready for this wedding. One of my aunt's best friends was planning a wedding and as her maid-of-honor, my aunt took on some projects. Also volunteering my sister and I to help out too. I browsed the internet and found some crafty ideas for center pieces. The bride was on a tight budget and we had less than three weeks to plan everything. After a couple hours of searching my aunt decided on the perfect idea for the center pieces. Later, I would wish I hadn't shown her the idea...
I needed cheering up of some sorts. I thought of my sister and how much fun we had on christmas eve playing in a cardboard box (for hours...) and how on thanks giving how much fun we have taking silly mustache pictures. Here's a blog post (mostly silly past pictures) dedicated to my overly silly sister. I miss her lately. ^_^
Jessie these are for you! Merry Christmas everyone! And Happy Holidays to those of you out there that celebrate any other holiday! ^_^
( This wasn't my best picture that I took, but I like the fuzziness of how it turned out. It's..different. I love it! ) My very first blog post. I am beyond excited to get this blog project up and going. :)
Hello! My name is Stefani. I have been planning to start a craft/personal blog for a while now. With Pinterest blowing up and where my life is at right now, it seemed like the perfect time to finally get started. So here I am. ^_^ I plan on using this blog to post tutorials on different projects I have been putting together. I will go ahead and give you the first one. I am currently working on a Ribbon and Bow Cowl tutorial for the winter. I have been making a lot of winter items lately and was determined to put together my own cowl tutorial and pattern. I am an obsessive Pinterest user, and I searched and searched for a good pattern/tutorial and came up rather short handed. Thus, the decision to make up my own! That will be up within the next, week or so. Speaking of Pinterest. I am also going to be adding posts about Pinterest pins that I have tried and give some insight on how they turned out, pictures on the projects, and some helpful tips ( that's the plan at least) to give out to everyone. I have tired TONS of Pinterest pins and crafts that I have found. Some haven't turned out too great (disasters....) and others have ended up being amazing. On top of those two main topics, I'll most likely be adding in everyday blog posts about what crafts I'm planning or working on. Or if I am planning a photography outing, which with winter coming and snow, I'll be going on a lot of those! :) I suppose this ends my first post! Happy Crafting! |
